CHRIS PURDIN began his career as an artist in 1998 after graduating from the Savannah College of Art & Design. He is currently on staff with LAIKA/House as a 2-D animator, storyboard and concept artist, working on commercials, music videos and PSA's. In the course of Chris's 12-year animation career he's created images for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, General Mills, Kellogg's, Microsoft, Honda, They Might Be Giants, and many others. Chris has also worked in advertising illustration for such agencies as Weiden & Kennedy and Euro RSCG. He's currently developing a portfolio of images for editorial and children's illustration. Chris spends his days in beautiful Portland, Oregon with his wife and charmingly grumpy son, Gus.
